Simple tips for TYPO3 website optimization - Part1

I was just in a search of finding out the key steps for optimizing a CMS based site, well in the way I studied a lot to make a site at least initial SEO a bit simpler rather than a specialty. We will go by some simple steps to retain the Google ranking ;-)

Here we go....

1. Content speaks louder then aesthetics:

Indeed design catches the first sight but it is the content at last which brings the business. try the following tips.

• Meaningful content, obviously no one likes the stories and repetition.
• Use a CMS for make your site updated (we use TYPO3).
• Avoid spelling mistakes as search engines simply hate them.

2. Introduce yourself with the robots:

Not kidding, virtual robots also known as spiders have been assigned the authority to know your website before any one can. They are the actual informers of any search engine, all I mean here don't depend on me only O_O, pull up your socks, search more about it in Google , I can max tell you is its a simple text file named as robots.txt which is placed in the root folder. OK, OK no hard feelings please I will make your task more simpler please click here to know more about robots. Ah, I believe no agonies now!!

3. I know you know about TITLE TAGS.

Even then I have to explain the importance of title tags, so one of the most important best practice is that every page of the site should have a unique and meaningful (of course targeted the keyword)

In Typo3 you can use default Page Title for the key word as typo3 by default configure Site Title = Page Title.

You can use Browser's page title extension.

No, no more hint for now, I know there are few more methods (thru TS) for making your title tags more fancy, but here my only motive is to give you tips, rest you have to explore .....
